So I believe the last remaining leak to be sprung on the ol’ Talli-wagon (the affectionate name given to my 1989 Volvo 740) has sprung. As I was about to leave a friends house last night I noticed a substantial amount of liquid pooled underneath. Upon inspection I noticed that although it was a tad oily it definitely had a lot of water in it. That is the final liquid that this car contains that has not begun leaking from under the hood up to this point. I’ve determined, (and my mechanic brother agrees) that it would take a substantial amount of money to repair every leak and some other woe’s and would be in my best interest to find another suitable vehicle.
So with this I say you’ve been a great companion these last two years talli-wagon, but it’s time for a new (used) era. Something with air cond. I think.

You should check eBay… it worked out for us. Got a Pathfinder for about $1,500 under BlueBook!

Well, RIP to the ol’ Volvo. I know, I know, its probably very bittersweet. Good luck finding another. I found my talli on Craigslist.org and it was a GREAT deal. 🙂

Hey Tamara, thanks for the offer of Jesse. As I’m sure he told you, I had him check out a truck for me in the boro. I appreciate his help immensely!
